About the event
This gentle lesson includes movement, relaxation and meditation.
To meditate we need to be in a relaxed but alert place. To find this point of balance the lesson firstly guides you through movement to release physical and mental tension - and then a relaxation to deeply rest the body and mind. We then come to sit for our breath work and meditation to focus and calm the mind. We can experience insight when the body becomes still and the constant undulations of our thoughts begin to slow down.
Meditation is experiential, each lesson offering a different practice for a calm and clear mind. This will give you the opportunity to find the techniques that you enjoy and work best for you.
