My retreat style workshops explore the therapeutics of restorative yoga, breath awareness and meditation. Through these guided practices we can experience the body's heightened nervous system gently coming into a place of calm.
In restorative yoga postures the body is held, not stretched, but supported with bolsters and cushions to ease into relaxation; helping the body to naturally respond to a state of restfulness.
Using yogic breathing to clear and calm our busy minds and gentle movement to subtlety release blocked physical, mental/emotional tension.
